Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: March 2026 · KLS Digital Solutions Limited

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the rules and standards of conduct for all users of the SovereignChat platform. This policy exists to protect creators, fans, and the platform itself, and to ensure compliance with UK law including the Online Safety Act 2023.

2. Absolutely Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination, content preservation, and referral to law enforcement:

  • Any sexual content involving or appearing to involve minors (persons under 18)
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery (including deepfakes and AI-generated content)
  • Content depicting rape, sexual assault, or coercion (real or simulated without clear labelling)
  • Content promoting or facilitating human trafficking
  • Content promoting terrorism or extreme violence
  • Content facilitating the sexual exploitation of any person

3. Prohibited Conduct

  • Circumventing or attempting to circumvent age verification requirements
  • Creating multiple accounts to evade bans or restrictions
  • Harassing, threatening, or stalking other users
  • Doxxing (publishing private information about another person)
  • Impersonating other users, creators, or platform staff
  • Using the platform for fraud, money laundering, or financial crimes
  • Distributing malware, phishing links, or engaging in hacking
  • Scraping, downloading, or redistributing content without authorisation
  • Circumventing creator geoblocking restrictions
  • Using automated tools or bots without platform authorisation

4. Creator Responsibilities

Creators are responsible for moderating their own Worlds. This includes managing user behaviour within their rooms, appointing moderators, and escalating serious issues to platform administration. Creators must not:

  • Permit or encourage the posting of prohibited content within their World
  • Fail to act on reported violations within their World
  • Misrepresent the nature of their content in directory listings
  • Use their platform access to access other creators' private data

5. Content Standards

All content in public (unencrypted) areas of the Platform is subject to automated and manual review. Content in end-to-end encrypted rooms is subject to the Platform's reporting and escalation protocol. All content, regardless of encryption status, must comply with applicable law.

6. Enforcement

Violations of this AUP may result in:

  • Warning and content removal (minor first offences)
  • Temporary account suspension (repeated or serious violations)
  • Permanent account termination (severe or criminal violations)
  • Referral to law enforcement (illegal content or conduct)
  • Payout freeze (financial fraud or disputed earnings)

The severity of enforcement action is determined by the nature and severity of the violation, guided by our incident severity framework. Severity 1 incidents (illegal content, account takeover, payment corruption) trigger immediate action.

7. Reporting

Users can report violations using the in-app reporting function. For urgent matters, contact support@sovereignchat.uk. Reports involving illegal content are treated as Severity 1 incidents and investigated immediately.

8. Appeals

Users who believe enforcement action was taken in error may appeal by contacting legal@sovereignchat.uk within 14 days of the action. Appeals are reviewed by a senior administrator not involved in the original decision.
